Romantic places to date in the Isle of Man

Being a rugged island in the Irish Sea doesn’t stop the Isle of Man from being the perfect place for romance.

Whether it’s the mountains, the coastline, traditional port towns, an old fortress or an even older castle, the Isle of Man is a great place to date.

It’s no surprise that love can be found all over the island and there is a really easy way to connect with single people by using Isle of man Dating.

Online dating is a really fun way to meet other people and going on a virtual first date is a wonderful way to connect with others without even leaving your home.

Video dating is becoming more and more popular as it is such a relaxed way of meeting people and many potential couples meet on this Isle of man Dating Site.

If you’re at home, you could order each other a meal to enjoy or even recommend a delicious dish, wine or beer for the other person to try!

Sharing experiences is a fabulous way to bond and lay the foundations for a solid relationship and dating experience in the future.

When you decide to take your dating into the real world, the Isle of Man has a lot to offer in terms of delightful experiences to share, both indoors and outdoors, depending on the weather!

If you want to get away from it all then the Point of Ayre lighthouse is a beautiful spot for a wander, another picturesque location is the waterfall pool in Ballaglass Glen. Nearby is the quirky Laxey Wheel, which is the largest working waterwheel in the world and a great feat of engineering.

History lovers will enjoy sharing a tour around the stunning offshore Peel Castle or the Iron Age roundhouse of The Braaid which was inhabited in the Viking Ages.

If you fancy getting into a relaxed pace of life together then hop on a steam train at the Groudle Glen Railway to watch the world go by or enjoy a cup of tea and cake in the tearooms.

Adventurous types can try to spot some of the Isle of Man’s amazing wildlife, the island attracts many birds to its coasts, including puffins, choughs and arctic terns!

There are much bigger creatures to see in the sea and bottlenose dolphins, harbour porpoises and minke whales can be regularly seen on boat trips. Seals can often be seen in the waters too and if you’re really lucky then you’ll both spy a basking shark! If you’re really eagle-eyed then you can visit the Curragh wetlands to see the wild wallabies that escaped from the wildlife park and grew to a population of 100! A totally quirky date idea to try.

Finally, food lovers can head to Douglas to dine in style while watching the ships come in and out on the waterfront. You can choose from freshly-caught seafood, Thai or Indian cuisine as well as a host of charming cafes or even the classic date grub, a portion of fish and chips on a bench looking out to sea!
